Child Lock
The Child Lock deactivates all buttons on the unit and remote
control. Use it to prevent other people from operating the
unit.
Preparation
≥Press [THEATER] to switch the remote control to operate
this unit.
≥Press [DVD] to select the DVD drive.
Press and hold [ENTER] and [RETURN]
simultaneously until “X HOLD” appears
on the unit’s display.
e.g. Display
If you press a button while the Child Lock is on, “X HOLD”
appears on the unit’s display and operation is impossible.
To cancel the Child Lock
Press and hold [ENTER] and [RETURN] simultaneously until
“X HOLD” disappears.

Preparation
≥Turn off TV while using radio since noise may occur.
≥Press [THEATER] to switch the remote control to operate
this unit.
1 Press [FM/AM] to select the “FM” or
“AM”.
2 Press [6] or [5] to select the
frequency of the required station.
e.g. Display
TUNED: Displayed when a radio station is tuned.
ST: Displayed when a stereo FM broadcast is
being received.
Press and hold [6] or [5] until the frequency starts
scrolling to start automatic tuning. Tuning stops when a
station is found.
