Authentication Setting

The system administrator can enable/disable the User Authentication for each function (copying,

faxing, scanning, and printing).

Press the Function key.

Select “General Settings”.

Select “5-9” tab, and then select “09

Key Operator Mode”.

Enter the Key Operator password (8

digits), and then select “OK”.

z The default password is “00000000”.

z To change the password, select “80 Key

Operator Password” in the General

Settings (Key Operator Mode), and then

enter the new password.

Select “40 - 59” tab, and scroll the

screen, and then select “45 User

Authentication”.

z “46 ID Timeout”, “47 Logon Attempts”, and

“48 Lockout Time” are displayed only when

“45 User Authentication” is set.
