Chapter 3 Setting Up

 Setting up the Client PC for Windows

XP and Windows 2000

Open the “Printers and Faxes”

window from the Start menu.

Click “Start”, and right-click “My

Computer”, and then select

“Explore”.

Select the printer shared on your

printer server.

Drag-and-drop the printer icon onto

the “Printers and Faxes” window.

Verify that the printer icon is copied

onto the window.

even though the screen displays may differ.
