Selecting the Recording Speed

You can select tt e desirecj recorcJing speetj (SP Mocie or

LP Mode) by selecting the corresponding setting for

[SPEED] on the MAIN MENU] Menu.

Press the [MENU] Button.

•The [MAIh MENU] Menu appears.

Press the [ITEM] Button repeatedly to

select [SPEED] O-

Press the [SET] Button to select the

desired recording speed (SP or LP).

• [SP] meat s Standard Play. [LP] means Long Play.

4 Press the [MENU] Button to exit the Menu.

Selecting the Correct Tape Length

To ensure that tl e displayed remaining tape time during

recording and p ayback is correct, you need to set the

tape length that matches that of the inserted cassette.

Press the [MENU] Button.

•The [MAll" MENU] Menu appears.

Press the [ITEM] Button repeatedly to

select [TAPE[^]

Press the [SET] Button to select the correct

tape length.
