Title Procedure Remarks, etc.

Inserting Titles

The supplied MultiMediaCard contains titles (preset

titles). Titles can be selected from among these titles

and displayed. (Titles can be displayed in the Camera

Mode, VCR Mode or Card Playback Mode.)

Press the [TITLE]

Button.

The original title (p. 80)

created last is displayed.

≥If an original title has

not been created, a

preset title will be

displayed.

Press the [MULTI]

Button.

A list of the titles is

displayed.

Press the [PUSH] Dial

or press the [MULTI]

Button.

The selected title

appears.

Turn the [PUSH] Dial

and select the desired

title.

The selected title is

marked with a red frame.

Select the recording destination with the

[TAPE/CARD] Selector.

Camera Mode: TAPE or CARD

VCR Mode: CARD

Card Playback Mode: TAPE

PHOTO SHOT

≥It is recommended that you press the [STILL] Button

first and then press the [PHOTO SHOT] Button.

≥When the [PHOTO SHOT] Button is pressed, the title

is cleared in that instant, however this will not

interfere with the recording.

≥When a title is displayed in the VCR Mode, the title

will not be output from the DV Terminal (p. 104) or

Digital Still Picture Terminal. (p. 108)

≥The Multi-Picture Mode cannot be used once titles

are inserted.

≥Titles cannot be displayed when [1568k1152] has

been selected as the [PICTURE SIZE] setting while

the [TAPE/CARD] Selector is at [CARD].

≥If the title is inserted when Zebra Pattern is set, the

Zebra Pattern may also appear in the title.

Press the [PHOTO

SHOT] Button.

≥A still picture with the

title inserted is

recorded.

≥When you record to

cassette in Camera

Mode, you can use the

Recording Start/Stop

Button instead of

[PHOTO SHOT] Button.
