This section describes the method that is used to
send pictures in an attached file format since,
depending on the computer used and its version
or the users provider, it may not be possible to
transmit the pictures directly.
1 Click the Import Button 3 to display the
photos or Moving Pictures.
You can also introduce the pictures from
Explorer.
When pictures are captured, the size of still
pictures is automatically modified to fit on
NetCard, however the size of through
pictures from the Movie Camera remains the
same.
Clicking the Sound Insert Button
4 enables
you to add sound (recorded with an external
device and from the selected music data) to
the pictures.
2 Click the Selector Button 2 to switch to
the address write page.
The screen changes to an illustration showing
the address write page.
3 Input the sender, address, message, etc.
Users using Microsoft Exchange or America
Online can select the address from the
address book in the mail software
programme which they always use by
clicking the Address Button

Concerning the Configuration
[Preferences]
Before clicking the Send Button, press the
Configuration Button and check whether the
settings are correct.
Input the sender

Select the appropriate delivery service and
delivery format settings that match the receivers
computer.
Delivery Service
2 Send automatically using Microsoft
Exchange
Select this if the receiver uses Microsoft
Exchange.
3 Send automatically using America Online
Select this if the receiver uses America Online.
4 Save to disk in NetCard outbox folder
The pictures are saved on the specified directory
(program files\pictureworks\netcard\outbox) as an
attached file regardless of which e-mail software
programme is used by the receiver.
Delivery Format
5 Create NetCard with Windows Player
attached
When the receivers computer is running
Windows.
6 Create NetCard as a JPEG image file
Even if receivers computer does not run
Windows, the pictures can still be viewed as
JPEG files. (Select this for users using non-
Windows computers.)
Using the NetCard Application
4 Press the Configuration Button 6 to check
whether the settings are correct. (p. 95)
Input a check mark for [Save to disk in
NetCard outbox folder] of [Delivery Service]
at this point. After checking the necessary
places, click the [OK] Button and exit
configuration.
5 Click the Send Button 5 to save the
NetCard pictures as an attached file. (p. 95)
6 Send it using your own e-mail software.
For users using Microsoft Exchange or
America Online: Refer to the Help
information for details on how to send
pictures directly.
The dates of saved files may not be accurate.

After checking the necessary places, click the
[OK] Button 7 and exit configuration.
When
2 or 3 is selected for the delivery service
items, it may not be possible to send the pictures
depending on the Windows version or computer
used. For this reason, it is recommended that
you select
